Chapter 1"Ah," said Ann as she woke up on Saturday morning. The sun was shining bright through her window."Breakfast is ready, honey! Come on down," Ann stood up, stretched a little, and then walked carefully downstairs.
"I'm here mom! What's for breakfast? Ooh! Yum! When is my egg going to be ready?"
"Your egg is almost done. Just a little while longer. So, what are you planning to do today? Oh. Here is your egg. Go ahead and enjoy."
"…I don't really know…I was thinking about playing with the neighbor. Or riding my bike. Oh. So, mo? Wher's dad," Ann said with a mouthful of food.
"Are you asking me where your father is? Well, first of all, next time that you want to talk, don't have your mouth full of food, please. Daddy is off on a work trip in New York. I asked him to bring the camera to take some photos for us since none of us have been to New York before."
"I kind of miss dad but I know that I will be seeing him in a little while. That's what I am excited for," Ann said staring straight at the eggs for a new rematch of staring. "So. When are we going to go see that new movie….uh…what's it called? Well, when are we going to see that new movie that just came out? I want to see it soon. OH! How about this! Well, you know that today we don't have that much to do. Actually, we don't have anything to do!! Maybe we could go see the movie!! Would that be cool?! Can we go see it?"
"Sure, honey," Her mother said, walking to her room and peering in. "…But first, you need to clean this room up. It's a mess! So you better start working because this mom wants to go see that movie. See you when you are done cleaning!!"
"Wow! This room is so, so messy! How will I ever finish cleaning it in time," Ann said to herself in her head. Ann had no idea how she would clean it and finish it in time to go to the movies. So Ann started with the desk. "It's so crowded; with books here and there. Random pages not needed to be there!" Ann created piles on her bed just to keep it organized.
When Ann finished cleaning her desk – thirty minutes later – it was time to clean her closet. The closet wasn't as messy as the desk but it was still not clean. Ann got right to work. Ann cleaned out the cubbies, and then sorted out the floor and then Ann was done. Next Ann had to clean her nightstand and make her bed. The bed was easy-cheesy and the nightstand wasn't that hard either. "I'm almost done," Ann told herself. Ten more minutes of cleaning the sides of her bed and Ann was done."Stuffed animals, clothes, toys, books, shells, money, pencils, pens, crayons, and….FOOD!!!!!!! EWWWWW!!!!! This food is SO old," Ann said, super disgusted.
