Harry Potter fans all over the world have waited months, even years, for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 to be released in theaters. As the seventh movie of the Harry Potter series, this film has pleased almost every fan out there.Harry Potter, a teenage wizard, is still dueling the power-seeking, evil wizard called Voldemort. Throughout the previous years, Voldemort had increased his power and army of Death Eaters and prepared to control the world. Harry attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, too. However, in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Hogwarts in ruled by Voldemort’s Death Eaters. Voldemort plans to kill any witch, wizard, or Muggle (non-magical person) who want to fight against him and the world becomes a complete contrast to the way it used to be.Harry and his friends, Hermione and Ron, escape dozens of close encounters with Voldemort and his supporters. To do so, they had to leave Hogwarts and hid out in the wilderness. Yet they aren’t just hiding, they’re on a mission to destroy Voldemort’s seven Horcruxes. Each Horcrux contains a part of Voldemort’s soul – and each one takes a lot of effort to destroy. It would be one of the only ways to destroy the darkest wizard of their time.Directed by David Yates, I found that this movie followed the plot of the book really accurately. The acting, primarily by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, was amazing and really captivated you. It was a little bit darker and more murky than I expected from the book, but I would still recommend it.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is PG-13 for some frightening scenes and is about 2 hours 30 minutes long. If you’ve read and loved the Harry Potter series, this movie won’t disappoint you.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is said to be released July 15, 2011.
