There are many books that deserves to be in the classic book shelves, like The Cat In The Hat, Where The Wild Things Are, and Winnie The Pooh. I have read a new one called Of Thee I Sing, A Letter to My Daughters, by Barack Obama and is illustrated by Loren Long. I know it is hard sometimes for fathers to tell their children how they feel about them, but in this book I definitely understand he loves and idolizes his daughters. That goes for all American children, not just his daughters. Mr. Obama refers to a lot of great heros in history like Albert Einstein, Jackie Robinson, and Cesar Chavez throughout the book, for all the courage, strengths, and ideas they had. That’s what makes America so great for all. The theme of this book is for all ages. The illustrtions are brillant and can tell a story without words. This book is an easy read for first graders and up. Prices range from $17.99 and up. I was honored that I could see a little insight on how much a father loves his daughters. Thank you to to Random House Children’s Books for publishing a historical book.
