This week I traveled to Washington DC to visit my grandparents. On Monday December 27, 2010 we went to see “Shear Madness” performed at The Kennedy Center. The plot of this play revolves around a hair salon which is underneath the apartment of a famous retired pianist, who is stabbed with a pair of hair shears and killed. The performance is about trying to find out who killed the pianist. This show is very special, because it is interactive with the audience. Depending on the audience it is decided who is the murderer, and the audience is able to ask questions and interact with the performers. Based off of the audiences votes it is decided who was the murderer. I think that this show is a sensational experience because you feel as if you are part of the show and your vote along makes a difference in the show. I would highly recommend this show to people ages thirteen and up, but unfortunately right now it is only playing in Washington DC and Boston.
