This funny DVD is for younger children. I would recommend it for ages three through seven. The movie tells more about Lola then Charlie, but you see both of them.
This funny DVD is for younger children. I would recommend it for ages three through seven. The movie tells more about Lola then Charlie, but you see both of them. Lola will take you to many places in her imagination. For example, that Lola pretends that her grandma's cat is a tiger and she is walking with him in the jungle.
The nine stories in the movie are based on the original Charlie and Lola books, written by Lauren Child. Along with Lola and Charlie, you will meet their friends Lotta and Marv. Marv has a little brother named Arnold who loves sausage. Their grandma has a cat who wears a hat, but the cat doesn't like it. You will see the cat's creative solution for this problem.
There are some real things and some fake in the artwork. All the plants are real photos, but the characters are the same drawings as the illustrations on the cover of the books. I like the artwork because it is a colorful mix and match collage.
Lola makes a craze called CUPPY -CATCH BALL. I like this name, because it is catchy. Lola says 'It's raining, it's boring'. I think this is a perfect expression, because it shows how you feel when it is raining. I would like to have a mystery box like Lola on a snowy inside day. Lola finds games to do in her mystery box. In one game, they have to remember everything. They do, because of Lola!
Besides watching this DVD, it's also exciting to listen. Charlie and Lola have funny voices with special accents.
If you are nine years old like me, then I suggest giving this as a present to younger friends. They will enjoy it.
