On Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, I went to see the new movie "Tron Legacy." When I say this I am NOT kidding. That was the best movie I have seen in my entire life. The graphics are staggering! Not only is the light plot amazing, the main story is too.
26 year old Sam Flynn, goes to his Dad's old abandoned arcade when a page has been sent to one of his dads old friends. This arcade has been abandoned since Sam was a little by and his dad, Kevin Flynn, disappeared and was never found. By mistake, Sam gets sucked into The Grid. Another word for the digital world of Tron.
Sam finds out that his Dad got trapped in The Grid by a digital duplicate he made of himself to help rule Tron. His digital evil twin is called Clue. A transporter called The Portal is what brings people (or programs) in and out of The Grid. But it's right in the middle of Clues domain. The portal closes 8 hours after it's been activated.
I am not going to ruin the whole movie for you, but the whole movie is basically about a race and survival. Sam his Dad and Cora (you can find out more about her online) have get to the portal and back to their world before Clue gets them. You can see "Tron Legacy" for only $2.50 a person at Elvis Theaters!
