It was a foggy Sunday morning as I prepared my stuff. I got an invitation from my friend Cade for his birthday, we were going to the aquarium! I went outside to wait for him to pick me up and in a few minutes he was at my house. I got in the car and it was a long drive to Denver, about an hour. When we got there it looked like a small place from the outside but really in the inside it was huge! There was a bunch of fish, manta rays, piranhas, sea snakes, and much much more! We put are stuff into a locker to keep it safe. Then, the first thing was a tour of the place. We stopped in a miniature Amazon place with fish and things like that, that belong in forests, like the Amazon. Our guide told us a lot about the certain types of fish and more!

Secondly, we stopped at a desert area really quick, not basically about fish or animals. We stopped, and in front of us was a big glass wall, one that you can see through. It was to experience what a flash flood would be like! They turned the lights basically off, just a little dim, then ThunderStorm noises went off for a little bit, Cade, Salim, and Ryan( the other people that got invited) were trembling because they didn't know what was happening, I was really excited for it. Finally, all this water rushed out of a miniature cave and there was a ton! They said we would get wet but I didn't get wet much.

We stopped at numerous other places, there was even two Tigers there! After the tour we had to put on our swimsuits and all that other gear, it was a pain getting it on, the gear that we had to put on was: A Snorkeling Mask, Fins, The Suit, and much more.

But then we were sent out into the water for Scuba Diving! There was a bunch of fish and even a few sharks, including the Nurse Shark! We got to swim with the fish and sharks for an hour! It was great! When we finished Scuba Diving we had to take all the scuba gear off and change into our dry clothes. We got a "Swimming with the Sharks" T-shirt, Scuba Diving Magazine and more! At the end we had food and played in the Play house. Then, we left. If you ever get a chance to go to the Downtown Aquarium in Denver, do it, it is a blast! We had a great time! You may even have a chance like I did, so once again if you get the chance to go to the Downtown Aquarium, do it!
