The book James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl is a very interesting fantasy book. The book will make you feel sorry for James. You do not want to meet James’ aunts because they are nasty. You do not know the full story about what happens with his parents. Just read the book and relax to get all of this information. James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl tells about how James go lives with his rude aunts because his parents got eaten by a rhinoceros that got out of the zoo. After that James was forced to move in with his aunts. On a hot day, the aunts work poor James to death. The aunts never let James out of the house ever. James was so tired and thirsty. In James and the Giant Peach Roald Dahl tells about James meeting a guy that gives him magic beans. The guy gives James precise instructions on how to use the beans. When James went to go eat the beans he fell and dropped all of the beans on the ground. The beans sank into the ground by an old peach tree. During the instructions, the man told James that the magic beans will work their magic on any tree, bug or human. The old peach tree started to grow a peach on a high branch because of the magic beans. This 118 page book has much adventure in it and it is very weird. There are many questions you may have while reading the novel. I recommend this book to 3rd graders and up for their enjoyment. James and the Giant Peach is an awesome book. Lots of people will enjoy this book after reading it.
