All of us school-goers are holding our breath for the school year to be OVER! To celebrate that, lots of people have parties. If you want to throw a party for you and your friends to celebrate moving to "0 grade" (Summer Vacation), then here are a few pointers on how to do so:
Invite lots of people you like (Make sure you send out invitations AT LEAST a week or two in advance). The bigger the party, the better chance people will be comfortable and have fun. In other words, the more the merrier!
Have something to do at your party. The thing can be optional, but it seems that people tend to be more relaxed and have more fun when they have options and things to keep them occupied. You could have your party at a laser tag place, a bowling alley, an arcade, a swimming pool, a park, or your house with games to play (Minute-to-Win-it games are fun and easy to put together. They also make people laugh because they're so strange!), or almost anywhere else with something fun to do. As long as you think your guests will be pleased, go for it! Activities even give your friends something to talk about, like how bad they may have been at one, or how good that girl was instead and do you think she does karate?
Have refreshments. Refreshments are a classic at parties. You could even ask people to bring something, so you have a wide variety of foods. Parties give people the excuse and luxury to pig out on candy and sugary food!
Put on some music. When you have music playing loud enough (But not too loud. Many people make the mistake of playing music so loud nobody can hear anything else!), people won't feel as though they are the only ones in the room talking, so they will socialize a bit more. Music also makes them (me, too) tap their feet and get dancing!I'm not an expert on parties, but I know that these pointers can make for a good one! So, invite your friends, put on some music, and get dancing!
