Martyn Bedford’s new novel “FLIP” will twist and turn your mind around till the very end. One December night the nerdy, chess playing Alex Gray wakes up in a muscular more athletic body known as Phillip Garamond. Alex learns that his real body is in a coma and he has mysteriously missed 6 months of his life. Alex will have to deal with Phillip’s family, school, and girlfriends while trying to get everything back to normal. He struggles to fit the puzzle pieces together without everyone acting suspicious. Along the way Alex finds a girlfriend and he tells her his little secret. Will she believe him? Read the story to find out. I love Alex’s awkwardness in his new body it makes you laugh how he gets along with Phillips sister. The book has mild language but is still great for younger children. This Young Adult book is 272 pages and I recommend it to anyone 11+.
