Mayor Wellington opened the Denver Public Library in 2003 at the five points in Downtown colorado. The reason it was made is because it will inform people on the past African American events that have been left in the dark. The building has three levels: The first is the classic check-out library. The second level has a few displays of some of the major people, things, and events in black history. The third level is a museum on everything that is unknown in black history. This particular Denver Public Library is the biggest of the series, and still informs people today.
