Emergency! What to do?

Abe Lamontagne writes, Lightning.

Lightning. Floods. Chemicals. Earthquakes. Tornadoes. Windstorms. Blizzards. Bad diseases. These are all hazards, and, in Denver, they are managed by the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Managemant and Homeland Security. When a hazard happens, for example, the flood of July 7th, 2011, the staff are contacted, at the place they currently are, and, at the office they assemble.Once they have assembled, they work on the emergency, for example, on July 7th, they displayed on the various monitors around the room, live footage of the flood. The room is generally fully staffed within an hour. The OEHMS is Directedby Daniel Alexander.
