Charleszine Terry Nelson is a staff member at the Blaire-Cadwell African American Research Library.The library was here for almost eight years. It was under construction in February of 2002. A year later, in February of 2003, the library was finished.Mayor Webbington Webb and his wife, Wilma Webb, decided to build this unique library on 2401 Welton Street to tell about the first african americans who helped settle the west. The Webb’s wanted a place where people can come and see original pieces art.People come from around the world to see and learn about thewonderful past of african americans!
