If you’re a Harry Potter fan, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is definitely a movie you want to see. Stunning special effects and in-depth characters whisk you into the Harry’s magical realm. Intense action keeps you on the edge of your seat. In this impressive finale to the Harry Potter series Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue to cut away at Voldemort’s remaining links to life as they prepare for the final battle at Hogwarts. And to end the devastating war, Harry must make the ultimate sacrifice. Avid Harry Potter readers will notice several differences from the book, although none of these detract from the story line. I liked that in the movie Neville and Professor McGonagall both had more pronounced roles and we got to follow Ron and Hermione into the Chamber of Secrets. Humor and new twists add to the story. All of the important conversations, though, were almost word-for-word from the book. The plot and the connections between characters were more defined than in Part 1, and even if you haven’t read the book, you would still be able to understand and be captivated by the story.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was definitely worth seeing in 3D. The special effects were really impressive in 3D. If you want to be drawn into Harry Potter’s world and love intense action, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the movie for you.Caution: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 may not be a great movie for kids 9 and under because it has a lot of scary, violent scenes.
