They do everything together. The only thing is that Walter is a Muppet and Gary (Jason Segel) is a man. Walter is a huge fan of The Muppet Show which was a popular TV show in the late 1970s to 1980. Gary is taking his girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) to Los Angeles for their tenth anniversary. Gary surprises Walter by taking him with them. The best part is that Walter will get to see The Muppet Studios. When they get to L.A. they realize that a man who runs an oil company has bought the studios. They think that the man wants to turn the studio into a museum but really he wants to tear it down and drill for oil. Walter overhears that and is determined to do something about it. He leads the way to find Kermit and the rest of the Muppet characters and a celebrity to put on a show that will raise enough money to get the studio back. Along the adventure Miss Piggy still likes Kermit but does Kermit like her? As they are on their adventure they wonder, has America moved on from The Muppets? This movie was really great. I recommend it for all ages. Younger kids might like all the singing and dancing and fun colors of all the Muppets. Kids my age would probably recognize the famous celebrities such as, Selena Gomez, Whoopi Goldberg, and even Jack Black. Parents might recognize the Muppet characters from their childhood such as, Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Animal, Gonzo and his chickens, and Swedish Chef. Even if you haven't seen The Muppet Show you would probably still understand and like the movie. There were lots of funny scenes and songs. Some of the scenes that were pretty funny were when they traveled by map (which is faster than car) and found some of the Muppets in different places such as Paris, France and in a Casino in Reno. My favorite song was "Am I a man or a Muppet?" sung by Walter and Gary. I give this movie a thumbs up and think America will still love the Muppets.
