The brand new Easy Bake Ultimate Oven is not a disappointment. The product requires no assembly. When you first preheat it, it may smell like something is burning. It is probably just because it is a brand new opened package. It will wear off in no time. The directions for this product are easy and simple. Ages 10-11 may be able to actually do it alone, which is how easy it is. Ages 8-9 may need some assistance. If you are going to have a child below 8 do this, they will need constant surveillance and help. The company does not recommend having children below age 8 operating this product (even with an adult). At Target, you can get the Easy Bake Ultimate Oven for onl$39.99!My personal favorite recipe is the Red Velvet Cupcakes. However, on the commercial it talks about the cool pizzas, pretzels and guitar molds. But it only comes with two recipes, one for Red Velvet Cupcakes and one for Chocolate Chip Cookies. When mixing the batter for the frosting and the cupcake part, and you have leftovers on the mixing spoon or in the bowl, it is safe to eat because it only consists of the batter and some water. It is the same with the chocolate chip recipe, it is safe to eat when the extra gets on the mixing spoon or the spatula.I enjoyed doing the Red Velvet Cupcake recipe, however it can be hard to make. Be sure that the batter is smooth and it is not clumpy. The frosting is much easier to tell when it is smooth. Overall I give this product around 4 to 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. It was excellent to try this new product.I enjoyed reviewing this product, and it would be a great Christmas present to children who like to bake. Happy Holidays!
