Just imagine, 40 life size models, customs race cars, master builders, and creation nation all in a three acre space. Well then you must know I am taking about the LEGO KidsFest, taking place at the Colorado Convention Center on  April  27th through the 29th. This giant traveling LEGO expo has hands-on education as well as many activities to get your creative minds going.
Aaron Wartner, a promoter for KidsFest, said “Everyone from ages 2 to 102 will enjoy this event”. I asked Wartner, how do you get girls involved with playing LEGO bricks? He said “We are making new colors and kits for girls like Lego Friends”. He also stated that the LEGO’S are creative toys that promote engineering and math skills at a young age for both boys and girls. If Mr. Wartner could choose just one of his favorite life size LEGO brick models, he said it would be the Lightning McQueen one.
