Ever heard of the Brothers Grimm? How about Grimm's Fairytales? In the New York Times bestselling series, "The Sisters Grimm," fairytale characters come to life. Michael Buckley's last novel in the Sister's Grimm series is a great ending to a great series. The Council of Mirrors is 333 pages long, but it's still a quick read. This book is recommended for nine and ten year olds, but I think anyone who is interested in adventure or fantasy books should read this. Also, you have to have read most of the other books in the series before this, or else it won't make any sense.
In this book, Mirror has taken over Relda Grimm, Sabrina and Daphne's grandmother. He is trying to go through the barrier that holds Everafters, fairytale characters, back from the rest of the world, but he can't get through. The Grimm sisters have to keep him from going outside, make him give back Granny Relda, and restore peace in Ferryport Landing. The Scarlet Hand, led by Mirror, will destroy the Grimms if they don't fight back. Do the sisters Grimm get Granny back? Does Mirror reign over the world? What is to become of Sabrina and Daphne? All these questions and more are answered in the final book of the series.
Overall, the last book of the Sisters Grimm is a fairytale ending. This book entrances, rivets, and excites readers of all ages. It shows what happens to many of the Everafters, and will satisfy any reader.
