Have you ever wondered what Colorado was like in the 1920’s? Well, now you can experience all the sights, smells, and sounds that the 1920’s in Colorado had to offer. All you have you have to do is go to the Destination Colorado exhibit in the History Colorado center. When you enter the exhibit it feels like you are actually the in Colorado in the 1920. This exhibit takes place in Kinwa, Colorado. In this exhibit it has props you can touch as well as real objects from the 1920’s. It also has activities like milking a cow, collecting eggs, baking, and quilting. Destination Colorado also has many interactive activities including, live actors, virtual guides, and voices. Destination Colorado isn’t the only exhibits at the History Colorado center. Surprisingly only 25% of the exhibits are open. J. J. Rutherford, the lead developer, said that the history center was a “Work in progress. " The History Colorado center really does bring history to life!
