Four years ago, the Colorado History Museum was expelled from its premises by an expanding judicial center. Currently, the museum has taken up new premises a block away from their former building and has recently opened. It features incredibly interactive exhibits, including a time machine and a ski jump simulator. The time machine moves over a map of Colorado and displays informative videos corresponding to the town that it hovers over. In the ski jump exhibit, you attempt to land a ski jump while your efforts are displayed on a TV screen. The museum tries to convey how special Colorado really is through fun family friendly activities, reenactors, exhibits, and artifacts. The museum is perfect for families and tourists. The museum is still expanding and is currently occupying only one fourth of the total possible exhibit space. Many more exhibits are planned for the future, so you have something new to look forward to every time you visit.
