Matt Rinard has a pet mind of his own. His art has reflection off of him. And when you see his art, you will have a dog mind of your own.

When just a baby, Mr. Rinard was dropped two times by his grandma. To avoid more disasters, he moved every three years. By age thirteen, he had lived in six states!

Now, Matt might have been dropped, but he still had art inside of him. At five years old, he learned to draw. And that is when art ‘s bubble grew.

His first picture was a streetcar. Simple as that. Then came animals. For which he is best known.  Dogs and cats are his trend. Just for his four-legged friends.

As a best seller, (and a long one to create) Matt Rinard’s “Forbidden Love” is perfect for a pet lover.  The painting is the story of a dog and a cat in love. Sadly, the cat and the dog never can see each other. That is why it is forbidden love.

His favorite painting is “Where is My Bone.” This painting is about a dog giving a cat, fish. The cat gives the dog meat. So where is his bone?

As a post pop art painter, he uses watercolor as his medium. Sometimes he uses string. The string adds the 3-D effect for people who think, “out of the frame.” The string is used in his paintings’ “Out of Order” and “Can you Hear Me Now…?”

In “Can you Hear Me Now…?” the string is used to connect two separate paintings into one great masterpiece.

In “Out of Order” string is used to attach a dog under a fire hydrant.

Matt’s works are featured all around the world. There is a gallery here that features his work. It is called Fascination St. This is located in Cherry Creek.

Matt Rinard’s works are magical. They seem to draw you in closer. And as the viewer likes it, Matt feels natural.
