Vail is a great place for tourists it has wonderful stuff.  Vail has good restaurants, good views, and a wonderful mountain in the summer and winter. Most people don’t know this about Vail but is has an amazing sculpture walk. Do the tourists and locals know about this walk and do they interact with the sculptures without touching them? Do they? The most interesting sculpture is a 2010 red Volvo made out of legos. Yes entirely out of legos.  The one thing that isn’t made out of legos were the wheels.  At first it looks like a piñata but, once you get closer you can see the actual details. The coolest thing about the 2010 red Volvo was that it lit up at night. Yep actual lights inside it. So, I guess I sort of lied about the entire thing except the wheels being made out of legos the lights obviously weren’t.  Another cool sculpture on the walk was one that looked like a giant tree, it was near the ice skating rink that is completely grass in the summer. It had these brown branch type things and it had turquoise balls at the end of each “branch”. At night time the giant turquoise balls light up. It was so cool. I loved these two sculptures, but there was one more awesome sculpture across from the “tree”. It started spinning up from the ground like a cork screw and but many cork screws put together. Then the cork screws started spinning smaller and smaller until it spun together and formed a needle like shape and got smaller and ended in a point at the top. The sculpture walk is one of the best free and neat things to see in Vail.
