Penguins and dogs can now slip and splash in Littlest Pet Shop’s latest toy, Littlest Pet Shop Walkables Slide & Dive Lagoon.
The play set features a slide, a place where your pet can spin around, a penguin that really walks, and a dog that really walks. To make the pet go down the slide, turn on the pet, place it at the top of the slide, and it should just slide down and land in the “pool,” where there is a plastic fountain that the pet can spin. If your pet should run out of battery power, replace them and they should work perfectly fine again. This is what the toy promises.
However, it has a couple of issues (although it is probably still worth playing with.) One thing is that the dog always seems to fall down when going down the slide. Another is that the fountain doesn’t always spin correctly. The final problem is that the penguin is extremely delicate. If the batteries are not exactly in the right place, then it will either walk very slowly or not at all. These are all small problems and this toy is still pretty fun to play with.
I especially enjoyed that the penguin that comes with this toy can also walk on its stomach, like real penguins can slide on their bellies. This would probably be appropriate for anyone ages 4-10 (specifically girls) who take pleasure from playing with Littlest Pet Shop toys. Children 2 and under should not play with this toy because it contains small parts and poses a choking hazard. If you have considered the three small issues with this plaything and it still sounds fun, what are you waiting for? Check it out today!
