Take What you can Carry, by Kevin Pyle is a comic book. In this book, two stories are going on at the same time and I think that made it more confusing. One story is about Ken who has a father in government custody and, as a Japanese American is forced to move to relocation camps. The other story is about another boy, almost 40 years later who is a daredevil and thief that is soon arrested. The two stories are connected.

I thought the two stories together made it confusing and since I’m not big on pictures the book was hard to understand. However, I don’t think this book is bad; it’s just not for me. If you like comic books and pictures this might be for you. This is also something that has big concepts that kids 10 and up would probably understand.
