If you could travel back in time to change any point in history, what would it be?
If you could travel back in time to change any point in history, what would it be? Well, in the new book Infinity Ring, A Mutiny in Time by James Dashner, the characters, Dak, Sara and Riq are doing the exact opposite.
They are recruited by the Hystorians, a group of people founded by Aristotle, who are fighting against the evil S.Q. When the S.Q. attacks the Hystorians headquarters, they are forced to travel back in time with the infinity ring to fix “breaks” in history and save their present home.
In this book our heroes have to travel to Spain in 1492 to save Christopher Columbus from being thrown overboard. They must survive living on smelly ships, staying with each other, and having to dodo something they aren’t ready for.
They are also committed to find Dak’s parents, because when Dak made a big mistake, his mother and father were lost in the time of the revolution.
I would rate this book five out of five stars, because it had plenty of action, lots of humor and tons of fun. I also think that ages 9-12 will like this book, because it has some scary parts and older kids will think its too short. So if you want time-traveling action, this is the book for you!
