Fractions=Trouble! by Claudia Mills is the second book in a series of two.
Fractions=Trouble! by Claudia Mills is the second book in a series of two. It's about a boy named Wilson who is struggling a lot with math, and has a little brother who is a genius at arithmetic. Adding to his problems, Wilson has to go to a math tutor and come up with a science fair project that competes with his friend's exploding pickle experiment that is the bomb! Will Wilson ever figure out how fractions work?
This book has 113 pages, and is divided into eleven short chapters. It made me laugh several times. Half the fun was learning different tricks to remember fractions. You can read the series in any order. This book leaves the reader with two thoughts: math and fractions can be fun, and that this is a really good book for boys and girls ages 7 to 11. I have read several books by Claudia Mills, a Colorado author, and I have enjoyed them all equally.
