"Tigers Destiny", the fourth and final book in Colleen Houck's "Tigers Curse" series, was a magical adventure with so much emotion, I felt as if I was in the story myself. The writing was fantastic. The characters were wonderful, they felt so real. I was sad to close this book after I flipped the last page.
19 year old Kelsey Hayes has come to the end of her journey… almost. She still has to travel to find the last of goddess Durga's gifts. This means finding The City of Light, fighting more creatures and most importantly, but least expected, finding out how to be true to yourself and follow your heart.
There are pieces in this story that every type of reader will enjoy: myths and legends, mythology of different cultures, action, romance and most of all the fact that you never know what's coming next. Sadness, loss, happiness and pleasure are all wound intricately into this novel, I was overwhelmed with emotion on every page. There's even a good amount of humor and jokes.
Unfortunately, I skipped the first three books of this series, but I am determined to read the first three parts of tigers curse because part 4 was wonderful and I want to know every detail I missed from the first books of Colleen Houck's "Tiger Curse" series. This is by far the best novel I have received from the Denver post and I am truly grateful I got to read this wonderful piece of writing.
For any reader above the age of twelve, I would say this is a book for you. Everyone can find something to love in "Tigers Destiny" even if they don't love the whole book. I guarantee you wont want to put it down, even once you've finished the last page.
