Daire and Dace are back in Echo, by Alyson Noel.  With the evil undead rampaging through the Lower world, it is now these heroes duty to save the world.
As their relationship gets stronger, Dace and Daire become conscious of the fact that Dace’s bond to his evil family is deeper than they first thought.
Dace’s evil brother, Cade, resurrected his dead ancestors, the Ritchers, and set them into the Lower world to wreak havoc. His goal was to destroy that dimension, which would cause the Middle world and Upper world to fall into ruin also. Daire and Dace are both painfully aware of the fact that a prophecy proclaimed that one of them would die. They both are determined to kill Cade before this can happen, believing that killing him would enable both of them to survive. The couple discovers that their love for each other aids  Cade in his mission. As desperately as they try, it’s impossible for them to stay away from each other. Will Dace and Daire be able to battle their love for each other, send the Ritchers back to where they belong, and kill Cade? Find out in Echo!

I personally think that this book is even better than the first one! You definitely need to read the first book in the Soul Seeker series, Fated, before this one, though. I would recommend this book for ages 12+ because it has some language in it, and is very romantic. If you don’t like romance, don’t even try to pick this book up!  Otherwise, Echo is an A+ for me! If you like this book, Mystic comes out in May of this year!  Mystic will be followed by Horizon, also sometime in 2013. Echo is a must-read!
