Featured in the late 1800's in the heart of Texas, the new film the Lone Ranger tells a provoking tale of the Wild West.   Tonto, an outcast Comanche Indian makes a light companionship with John Reid, the last of the Texas Rangers, when they both seek the same justice for different reasons.  With hilarious moments that shake the audience, great and lively music by Hans Zimmer that echoes in your ear drums, and wonderful actors and actresses such as Johnny Depp as Tonto, Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger, and Helena Bonham Carter as Red Harrington makes this film a must see for anyone seeking a wild tale of a western superhero.

Even if you have never heard the story of the Lone Ranger, you do not need to know any background going into the theater. Throughout the film you are told the story of two great men, with many twists and turns that make you gasp, lean forward in your seat, and almost feel the rocking of riding a horse.   At every surprise and sudden rise of action you are swept into the film, in fact you even forgot that you are just sitting in the movie theater watching the scene and not being a part of the scene.

The Lone Ranger is rated PG-13 for a reason, with some bloody and gory moments but nothing too severe.  I would rate this five out of five stars because of the epic action, the superb acting, and the pure story line of a Wild West tale brought once more to life on the big screen. So come saddle up your horse, ride out, and don’t forget to keep your mask on throughout the entire movie. As the character John Reid/ The Lone Ranger likes to say, “Hi-ho, Silver, away!”
