One very efficient and reasonable way to find books, articles, and information is to go to your local library. The Denver Public Library provides all and has twenty-four/seven online references. It’s very clear that DPL wants to help us as much possible. DPL started in 1889 and started to expand to twenty-four branches around Denver. On DPL’s website there’re information to contact a librarian, ask us is one of them located on the website, it’s used to converse with a librarian if you have a question. To do this all you have to do is click on the "ask us" bubble on the DPL website, and type in your name and question. Let’s say you have the question, how many books are in the genre historical fiction? A librarian will answer your question of her best knowledge and resources. Another way to contact DPL is calling by phone. This is in my opinion the easiest way because you don’t need internet or a computer and almost everyone has a phone.

The biggest selection of books DPL has is in the genre of western history. The reason for having such a big selection on certain genre’s is because if people are interested in a topic it leads to publishing more books about the topic which is why they have so many books on certain genres. The average number of books checked out daily in DPL is twenty-six thousand books.

So with that I hope you’ll go to the library and check it out!
