“Houston, do you hear me? Houston, do you copy?” cracks the voice on the radio.
“Houston, do you hear me? Houston, do you copy?” cracks the voice on the radio. Meteors hurl towards you while you sit with your eyes wide open and your mouth agape in the movie theater. You are watching the movie “Gravity” produced and directed by Alfonso Cuaron.
Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) and Matthew Kowalski (George Clooney) are two astronauts that are working on a space station when they receive a warning call about an exploded Russian satellite and a cloud of space debris moving toward them with striking speed. The next moment they’re all alone in space with their station destroyed. They have no choice but to set out on a journey through space desperately trying to get back to Earth. Will they make it back to their home planet safely?
“Gravity” is rated PG13 because of some rude language and scary scenes, but even so, it is one of the best movies I have ever seen that is full of amazing 3D effects and stunning pictures! It has many unpredictable twists and turns that will make you sit on the edge of your seat the whole time. This is a rare action movie that makes you think about many questions like why you have to stay alive when there is no hope of survival or why so much junk is orbiting our planet.
Make sure you watch “Gravity” in 3D. I’ve seen many 3D movies, but this one is extraordinary. It feels like you are right out there, in space, watching an incredible sunrise through the eyes of an astronaut or going to be hit by space junk. Everything looks and feels so real!
If you are looking for an outstanding movie to watch, don’t miss “Gravity. ” You won’t be disappointed.
