The Revenge of the Girl With the Great Personality was a good book with a disappointing ending.

The Revenge of the Girl With the Great Personality was a good book with a disappointing ending. It starts with Lexi, a girl who is popular because she has a great personality and is funny; not because she is pretty, like the rest of the popular girls at her high school. Lexi has a little sister named Mac who is a pageant princess. Unfortunately, Lexi is required to attend the pageants. However, the highlight of those pageants are seeing her secret crush Logan who attends the pageants because his girlfriend participates in pageants. She decides as a dare to turn herself into "Glam Lexi," a version of her that wears makeup and dresses. A boy at Lexi's school named Taylor gets to know Lexi, and asks her out on a date.As she and Taylor get closer, she starts to become a whole new person. Lexi gets into a HUGE fight with her mom and debates whether to run away. She spends the next few days home "sick."

The day she gets back, she finds that Logan and his girlfriend, Alyssa, have broken up! Lexi could finally get her chance to be with Logan… But is she willing to give up her relationship with Taylor for Logan? Overall, I found this book to be pleasing, but I don't think anyone under the age of 12 should read this book because the main characters are in high school, the main subject of the book is dating and there are some mature themes in it. The Revenge of the Girl With the Great Personality was a very intriguing book to me, but is really more appropriate for older readers.
