Bloodlines Heart of War by M.

Bloodlines Heart of War by M. Zachary Sherman is a “heart-pounding, action-packed tale of combat” and with very superior look at the United States military defense and offense. There are eight descriptive mini-stories going through each and every detail of the Donovan family's service to the United States. It involves the following wars; World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and the two wars in Afghanistan. At the beginning of each mini-story, there is the name of the Donovan family member, what his/her rank is, his/her organization, location, conflict, and mission.

Some mini-stories were so intense, I started to tear up. Each new chapter demonstrated the courageous, born-leader, and creative Donovan family member going to battle with his/her own heartfelt stories. In the Afghan War, Captain Anne Donovan wanted to prove that she had what it takes to be in the U. S. Army (as a nurse). Another story that really got to me was when a Lieutenant Verner Donovan lost a friend like.

I would give Bloodlines Heart of War a five out of five stars because this novel kept me on the edge of my seat eager to turn each and every page to the next extreme moment. M. Zachary Sherman a veteran and an acclaimed comics writer for Marvel, Radical, Image, and Dark Horse. “Courage. Strength. Tradition. Loyalty. It’s in their Bloodlines”.
