"Do you know?" is a great way of learning things about different kinds of species such as Rats, Leeches, Porcupines, crows and more. Its a fun way of learning and still having fun at the same time. Instead of looking for boring chapter books on just about that creature, I suggest looking for if the "Do you know?" books have the creature you're looking for. When you open the books it goes straight into the facts, one fun thing is that this book is a comic/learning book. While you see the comics on the page, on the right or left side of the page you'll see a paragraph or sentences containing the facts.

On the facts, sometimes the writer uses words a young reader might not know. If you see word you're not sure of and its thick in black then it means you can go to the glossary and look for its definition. The glossary is neatly organized in the alphabetical order and is very clear to understand. The comics stays in topic and nicely shows why the illustrator put the picture there. All the comics are colored to make readers have fun in reading and the captions are hilarious fun reading and just to see.

While I was reading the books, I played a little game with myself and still learned while doing it. I asked myself  "Did you know?" or "Do I know?" If I didn't know that fact then I read it 2 times to understand the fact clearly and if I did know then I still read it too make sure. I would recommend this book for ages 5 and up. The pictures might be too scary or violent for the little kids. Overall, it was a great book for kids who are looking for a book with comedy, but learnings included.
