The activity book The Racecar Book is a very good one for adventurous kids and adults alike when it comes to building racecars. Each section has an entirely different kind of car that you can build with simple household materials. The book has step-by-step instructions, complete with pictures that show you what the car should look like at each stage and lists of the materials you need to make the car you desire. In my opinion, this book would be most useful during parties, vacations, or times when you just need something to do.

I find the cars and the instructions easy and complicated. But they all have something in common-they all have interesting names like Mallow Magic, Cheese Wagon, and Cola Roller.

There are at least 31 different activities. These include the cars, of course, a few different launchers, and the Additional Racecar Topics at the end of every activity’s instructions.

As earlier mentioned, the cars and the instructions can be easy and complicated. When I made the Mac-’N’-Cheese Roller, it was a little hard to figure out how to keep the wheels from falling off, and to find out how to put the straw axles on because part of the box was torn off, but it was delightful and easy to test it out, and to have fun with the ramp was pretty enjoyable.

All in all, I would recommend this book for people age 6 and up because although it is entertaining, it can be pretty hard, and some of the cars require supplies that children 5 and under might get hurt on.
