“The Legend of Hercules” is an action-packed movie that is great with the 3D visual effects, but it wasn’t a great movie overall. Of course, this was movie was rated PG-13 for a reason. There wasn’t a whole lot of blood, but there was a lot of killing throughout the movie.

“The Legend of Hercules” told the story of Hercules from birth throughout his life. He was born as the son of Zeus, but of course, he doesn’t know it yet. His girlfriend, Hebe, is doing well, until she cannot get married to Hercules. Then, Hercules goes on a huge action-packed adventure with his friend, throughout Greece and other small villages, while everyone at home thinks he is dead.

I didn’t love this movie, but I didn’t completely dislike it either. I thought it was OK. The visual 3D effects were amazing and definitely worth it. At the beginning of the movie, the soldiers were shooting flaming arrows at people, and some of them came right at you. Some of the battle scenes were also cool in 3D.

The violence was pretty bad too. There wasn’t a whole lot of blood, but there was fighting and lots of stabbing and killing throughout the whole movie.

I think the other thing that it was rated PG-13 for was the romance. It wasn’t too horribly bad, but there was a lot of kissing in some scenes.

I think that an audience for this movie would be 11+, but even if you do see this movie, you can’t be squeamish or be afraid of violence.
