When you walk into The Stock Show; you see a lot of unique things you may not find at your regular Stock Show. But something that really stood out was a booth filled with eye popping colors.

When you walk into The Stock Show; you see a lot of unique things you may not find at your regular Stock Show. But something that really stood out was a booth filled with eye popping colors.

This booth was a Stain Glass Art Booth and the owner was Debb Cusick. Stain Glass Art is basically when you mix two colored pieces of glass to create an eye mesmerizing art piece.

Miss Cusick has been doing Stain Glass Art for 30 years; (She has been doing shows for 15 years and the stock show for 12 years.) Out of all the years of experience her favorite type of Stain Glass Art to make is called Fuse Work.

Fuse work is glass put into a kiln and it heats up into a certain shape or pattern. Fuse Work is also the most time consuming out of all the Stain Glass Art she makes.

The piece that has taken her the longest to make was a door with an image of a horse on it, it took her 6 whole weeks!

There were many pieces of art work ranging from household items (Silverware and Glasses) to long murals with more colors than I could count.

Seeing this exhibit gave me a whole new perspective on both Art and The Stock Show.
