Sandy Skoglund’s Photograph

Sandy Skoglund’s Photograph

This amazing women is a great photographer and set maker. Her amazing photograph- Fox Games- is at the Denver Art Museum and there is also an exhibit too. Her name is Sandy Skoglund.
Sandy is from the U.S.A and was born in 1948. She designed the whole set for the photograph the Fox Games, which was made in 1989 and was made with silver-dye bleach print. Sandy used all sorts of things: fishing line, paint, styrofoam, paint, fake things, and other things. With the paint she had two colors, red and gray. She painted everything gray, but the foxes. The foxes were the color of a bright red fire truck. Her intention was to do a nice, fancy restaurant with red foxes messing it up. The other building of the Denver Art Museum there is an actual exhibit of the Fox Game, but there is one thing different about it compared to the photograph. The colors were switched, the foxes were gray and the rest of the scene was red. Some people from London came to New York to see the painting and asked Sandy if they can make it into an exhibit. Know you know that there is an exhibit and a photograph of the Fox Games.
Sandy Skoglund is an amazing photographer and set designer. I hoped you would like to come and see both the photograph and the exhibit.
