People come from around the country to learn more about their family history. To find what you are looking for easily you can ask a librarian or look it up by last name or state. Most of the publications come from donations mainly from Colorado Genealogy Society and family members. The Denver Public Library might not have the biggest genealogy section, but, they still have a varied choice of family histories, that can come in handy. In fact, the Salt Lake Public library is the biggest genealogy library in the world

      The 10th Mountain district room is named after courageous soldiers, who were professional in skiing and assisted in the Civil War by being able to go fast, down and by snowy hills to fight. They had to carry their bulky war gear, including their long heavy skis. They had to go through extra training because they had to carry the protracted skis. They wore white and light gray camouflage suits with thick warm layers. In the 10th Mountain District room, you can look at old photographs.
