Denver’s taste of Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil is back with Kurios– the Cabinet of Curiosities.  In this show we get to see an artistic story with the awe Cirque du Soleil is know for.  As a member of the audience I got to witness firsthand the breath being stolen from the entire room.  Everyone had their eyes glued to the stage.

Leading up to the show, characters were out on stage, props were lit up, and randomly selected audience members were even invited to make an entrance through a rope bridge backstage.  This really excited the audience and gave them a feel for the upcoming show.

Also bringing the show to life was the music.  A live singer was often on stage but little did the audience know that a band backstage was providing the music.  The accompanying music was more than fitting to each act.  Some songs were interesting, something we don’t hear everyday and other songs added energy to the already fun shows of talent.

There were acts of all kinds.  Whether you like juggling, stunts, or giant trampolines, you will certainly get your money’s worth.  I can tell you to expect the unexpected and I know this show will certainly impress!

Overall it was a captivating, interactive show.  Tickets are still available to see Kurios – the Cabinet of Curiosities playing now up until July 25th in the tents around the Pepsi Center!
