If you are a football fan from the ages of 8-13 you will enjoy this book. The book itself is mostly about Super Bowls from the past, and the men who played in them. For instance, the Pittsburgh Steelers are way more talked about than the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Houston Texans. This book includes what happened from the Vince Lombardi days to the Tom Brady era.
A few Super Bowls are left out by choice of Howard Bryant so that the book wouldn’t be too much longer than it is at 308 pages(not including the index. The book that I have also an uncorrected and a gallery version). There are also pictures dating from Super Bowl I to Super Bowl XLIX. There is sequel book the first book in the series much shorter about baseball and it is stated there might be a book about basketball. Howard Bryant, the author of the book has won awards, and written Shut Out: a Story of Race and Baseball in Boston, The Last Hero: A Life Of Henry Aaron and many more.
There are many reasons to enjoy this book as a football fan, but at times it can get a bit boring. Be on the lookout for this book at a store near you!
