“Robot Revolution” by James Patterson is the third book in the series of House of Robots.
It’s about Sammy, his little sister Maddie and Sammy’s best friend Trip. Maddie has a disease called Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID), which means that when she gets sick, for example when she gets a cold or the stomach bug, she can end up in the hospital.
Sammy’s mom is a robot scientist which is why their house is full of robots!
Because Maddie is better off staying at home than being at school, Sammy’s mom builds a robot to go to school for Maddie. She can stay home and hear and see what is going on in her classroom. Throughout the book, Sammy, his family and friends help Maddie lead a normal life and they try to live around crazy robots that fill their house.
On a scale from 1-10, I would rate this book a 10 because of its humor and adventures.
I think this book is for ages 6 and up. There are no bad words and it’s not very scary. I also read the other two books in the series and liked them too. If you liked those books, and are ready for more adventures with robots, go ahead and read “Robot Revolution”!
